The Block-Out feature currently works against only certain model, high-end color copiers.
This paper layers our industry leading pantograph hidden message background with a unique technology called BlockOut(TM). BlockOut is an anti-color copy technology that protects artwork, text, photographs and most any other type of confidential information or restricted artwork from unauthorized duplication through the use of certain high-end color copiers. Attempted copies of a document printed on ObscureX paper on specific models of color copiers will produce a solid black copy, or a variety of other distortion effects (depending on the copier manufacturer). In addition, any other attempts to scan or copy the document will reveal a hidden message pattern "UNAUTHORIZED COPY" on the duplicate. To use, simply image your customized artwork or photos over this sheet and remain confident that others can not reproduce this information without your authorization. - 60# offset/90gsm paper stock, laser compatible - Yellow BlockOut pattern is used to distort attempts at high-end color copying - Background pattern includes a hidden "UNAUTHORIZED COPY" image which will appear on all scans, some color copies or all black & white copies - Sheet size 8.5 x 11" - Single Sided
